Lighting Design Services

The LuxLAB Design division of The O’Hanlon Group provides comprehensive lighting design and analysis to assist in the understanding of how lighting affects the built environment, and ultimately, the people who utilize that environment.

Among the keys to green design, effectively integrating daylighting into interior spaces can be reliably predicted, ensuring environments that are conducive to improved productivity and performance, higher test scores, less absenteeism, and happier people.

Working in concert with the architect, landscape architect, electrical engineer, or interior designer, LuxLAB utilizes state-of-the-art lighting software delivering an accurate prediction of interior or exterior lighting system performance, startlingly accurate visualizations, consideration of daylighting and / or electric lighting effects, calculation of horizontal and / or vertical point-by-point footcandle values, modeling of colored lighting effects, for any number of luminaires and reflective or transmissive surfaces.

Lighting power density analyses can also be provided as required for LEED or ASHRAE compliance.
