Lumec, along with its US partner RELUME, undertook the bold initiative of recommending a major lighting conversion project for the city of Ann Arbour, Michigan using deco-functional park lighting. As a result, the city has begun to covert nearly 1,000 luminaires with this new technology. The project attracted the attention of Fox News, who aired their LED street lighting-Ann Arbor report, as well as NBC. (The video will begin following a 15-second commercial)
